Sands United Ashby Football Team and families Baby Garden volunteering day

A massive thank you to Sands United Ashby Football team, their families and Derby Sands volunteers for giving up their Sunday to work with such dedication in Derby Sands Baby Garden. They sanded and painted benches, clipped what must've felt like miles of hedge, scraped the weeds out from between the paving bricks, swept up endlessly, weeded beds, planted masses of new plants, cleaned the name petals and flower holders, picked up debris and made the Garden absolutely beautiful again. A special thank you goes to Matthew Buckley who organised it all.
It was lovely to be in the garden and meet everyone, you are all stars!
